4 Easy Steps to Press DTF Transfers

1. Position-Line up your artwork carefully in the desired print area.
2. Press- Press with medium pressure press your transfer at 285°F / 141°C for 15 seconds.
3. Peel- Lift it from one corner and gently peel it back using even pressure. 
4. Final Press- After peeling the transfer, place your design back on the press and press again for another 15 seconds.

How should I wash my p]garment after pressing my DTF transfers?

How to machine wash:

1. Before washing, turn your pressed shirt inside out.
2. Separate colors, weights, and textures that are similar. Make a point to not stuff the washer.
3. With cold water and a gentle cycle, use a mild detergent. Make sure to not add softener to your wash cycle.

(Warm water, aggressive wash cycles, and harsh detergents all have the potential to harm the garment as well as the transfer itself.)

How to dry:

(Hang-drying after washing cycle on a plastic hanger is recommended, but if instructions are followed a drier works fine.)

1. Before drying, turn your pressed shirt inside out.
2. Separate colors, weights, and textures that are similar.
3. Use a Permanent Press or the lowest possible heat setting.

DTF Transfers Hot or Cold Peel?

1. Use medium pressure to press the transfer onto the fabric within a temperature range of 285°F / 141°C. Hold the press for 15 seconds.
2. Once the pressing time is completed, release the pressure and heat, and allow the transfer to rest for a minimum of 15 seconds
3. After the resting period, ensure the transfer has cooled down to the touch. Then, gently lift the transfer from one corner and peel it back, applying even pressure for smooth removal.
4. To further enhance the feel, increase durability, and eliminate shine, place the design back under  the heat  press and press again for 15 seconds

What are DTF Transfers?

DTF Transfers, which is abbreviated for Direct to Film transfers, is a remarkably advanced way to directly transfer several different images to any material regardless of color without having to worry about different methods with technical specifications and limitations like you may have had before.

The underbase and transfers are all printed the same way on all materials at the same temperature. Of course, there are some exceptions to this rule, but in general, everything is the same on every material that you transfer onto. This makes it much simpler to be confident that all transfers will adhere and appear the way you want them to on every order.

This was never conceivable with screen printing transfers since you expected to ensure that you were requesting the right ink type for the articles of clothing you would print. A small quantity of screen print transfers, especially those with a high color count, would also be prohibitively expensive. This is no longer an issue when using DTF transfers.

Can I have multiple designs and sizes on 1 gang sheet?

Certainly! Gang sheets offer a convenient way to have multiple designs and various sizes printed together seamlessly. Our gang sheets are available in various lengths but share a common width of 22 inches.

What size transfers should I order for Adult Shirts? 2XL? 3XL? 4XL?

Typically, for these adult shirts, the standard size of 12.5x16 inches or larger is recommended since most customers ordering custom shirts do not expect the design size to change. With DTF transfers, you have the flexibility to modify the sizes as you prefer while still enjoying the bulk discount pricing on the entire order.However, if you do choose to modify the design size based on shirt size, our specific recommendations are as follows:

• Adult Small through X Large: Opt for 11x16 inches or larger.
• Adult 2X Large through 5X Large: Consider using 12.5x16 inches or large

What size transfers should I order for Youth Sizes?

Typically, customers ordering custom shirts for youth sizes do not expect the design size to change. Therefore, a standard size of 9.5x10 inches is suitable for the entire run.

For our Toddler 2t, 3t, 4t,5/6 through Youth XS sizes, we recommend printing at the standard size of 8.5x 9.

Youth Small through Youth XLarge are recommended at 9.5 width x 10  length

Adult Small through Adult XLarge are recommended at 11 width x16 length

Adult Big: X2L through X5L are recommended at 12.5 width x 16 length in the front and 13x16 for the back
